Glen;

If you don't have anything better to do by all means, I was looking for more
info because of the post by Robyn Greenlund about residents of that house in
Myrtle Point, I figured a little time chasing it wouldn't hurt since her
last name was a lot like one of my mystery families;

Generation No. 2

2. EVA E.2 LOCKWOOD (TIMOTHY1)14,15 was born June 1852 in Indiana15,16, and
died Bef. January 1923 in CA. ?. She married WILLIAM W. LLEWELLYN 12 April
1870 in Dallas Co., Iowa17, son of ? LUELLYN and ?. He was born May 1842 in
Pennsylvania18,19.

Notes for EVA E. LOCKWOOD:
Most interesting, 1880 census she is in Pass Creek Oregon. She is Evae in
the 1850 census but all other years shows up without the extra e. Birth
date has a lot of float; 1855 per 1860, 1852 per 1880.

Notes for WILLIAM W. LLEWELLYN:
Possibly b. 1844 based on neighbor of Guy in 1920 Census. These folks seem
to float their ages around a lot, I am now basing Wm and Eva's age on 1900
Census as it gives month and year.

Children of EVA LOCKWOOD and WILLIAM LLEWELLYN are:
4.	i.	GUY KNOWLTON3 LLEWELLYN, b. May 1872, Iowa; d. 08 February 1956,
Tacoma, Pierce Co., Washington.
	ii.	BESSIE LLEWELLYN19, b. June 1885, Oregon.

the bonebrake was just a throwaway shot in the dark because somebody had
posted that name, I couldn't find what they were looking for, though since I
was jumping six ways from sunday didn't try too hard, but then I got
stubborn about trying to find Jeremiah and "wasted " an hour and a half or
so going through the entire Coos County 1880 Census index at LDS looking for
him, after the trouble I had with John I figured it was worth the effort,
for one thing I bet the two Barklows I posted from the marriage site are
siblings and wouldn't be surprised if the two Lewellen women were sisters.

You might want to hear if Robyn already has covered this ground before you
put too much effort into it.

NOw if you wanted to do something for me instead you might see if you can
figure out what happened to William, Eva and Bessie above, I know they are
all in Tacoma in 1900, in fact I just noticed that cousin William is the
census enumerator there that year, but I seem to have lost track of everyone
but Guy after that, I may have more on them than I realize because some of
my Melvins were there at the same time and may be together, Eva;s Mother's
maiden name was Melvin as she is my ggrand Milan Morrel's sister.

Of course if you really want to try a brickwall try and find Timothy, I have
been in contact with three or four people chasing his origins, but no luck.
Ironically there are several Lockwood families in the Orange Co NY area that
Joel Melvin, father of Elizabeth Beulah or whatever her name was came from.

Generation No. 1

1. TIMOTHY1 LOCKWOOD1,2 was born Abt. 1816 in N.Y.3. He married ELIZABETH
BEULAH MELVIN4 Abt. 1850, daughter of JOEL MELVIN and ELIZABETH WISNER. She
was born 07 May 1826 in Prob. Gerry, Chautaqua Co., NY5,6.

Notes for ELIZABETH BEULAH MELVIN:
Melvin 244090a gives middle name Beulah. Betty Cortessis email gives Beulah
Elizabeth (Betsy) but source unclear, Palmer Groups? Les C. 12/01 1880
Census gives E.B.

I had never known a living Lockwood until one of my neices married one in
Portalnd a few years back, unfortunately it was not a good relationship and
so never got a chance to try and determine if he was family and so on, but
my point is considering that I thought if I found a Lockwood in the right
place I would have my people, WRONG, New England is as peopled with
Lockwoods as it is Chapmans in the 18th century.

I think you can see know why I have a hard time keeping on track when I do a
genealogy search, but, thanks for the offer.
