[or-roots] Birth records / Aliquot parts

Amanda M. Hardwick was Verna Marie's grandmother. The others I don't
recognize. I know that she had a half sister and a half brother that
also died young, but I can't remember their names off the top of my
head.

Dale;

I actually don't have access to Or death index unless I can get to it at
local FHC, if I don't manage to find it here in a bit; I did find one
site
where $4 will get you an index lookup, not the document. Not much of a
bargain I guess I found another place where $10 will get you the
document
maybe?

Okay, finally got a link that seems to work;

this is a Heritate trail link and somehow from the page above I got good
results but the search I did from their site I would swear didn't turn
up
some of these, but no sign of Verna

That is the best I can do for you Dale except to suggest you need to get
access to the Oregonian for that time period perhaps at your family
history
center or library loan program, she might turn up there, but probably
very
hard to find.

I actually hadn't meant to offer a lookup of Oregon death stuff, just
was
offering to help with the Arizona web page as it is a little difficult
to
navigate, and more importantly I was offering help find homestead
locations
for folks that might be baffled by the aliquot parts description
thereof.

How kind of you to offer to help. Her name was Verna Marie Hardwick and
she was born Sept. 11, 1913 in I think Milton Freewater (not positive
about this) She died in or near Portland and I have located her grave
but cannot find her death date. I believe it was sometime before 1919.
Thanks,
Dale
