Thanks Dale,
I'm strongly suspecting the information I found was incorrect as
Umatilla was not formed as a county until 1862 so a marriage earlier would
be quite unlikely. I'm interested in learning if there were marriages in
Umatilla or Wasco County for MEANS (any first name) to see if I can patch
together a working picture of the MEANS families in Oregon. If your book
isn't indexed that might be alot of work tho.
