[or-roots] Jordan Wagon train of 1847

Pulled this query off an Illinois site, but the relevance of this to Oregon
is, I am trying to find the paretns of Mark Sawyer who probably was also on
that train, my question is does anyone know if the Jordan Sawyer of this
wagon train is the same Jordan as the husband of Francis Forbes.

Looking for people researching the BIRD, OWEN, and HENDRICKS lines
in Marshall and Putnam counties.  Robert and Rachel BIRD came to
the Lacon area ~1830 from KY and left the area in 1847 in the Jordan
Sawyer wagon train to the Oregon Territory. If you have any information
about these lines please let me know so we can exchange information
