I guess I must have been after the Duh index look-up, as in Duh I am too
Duhm to remember to include the name of the person I was looking for!!

That is the person I was after, wonder how he died in Philomath? His spouse
at the time of death was Elizabeth Jane Speedie FINLAYSON which is a little
scary as one of my buttonhole relatives from an entirely different direction
is a Finlayson.

Incidentlly Lee; Reuben is the father-in-law of George Sawyer, who is one of
Jennie Sawyer's uncles. I have been chasing that line all over the place
hoping to get past Mark, but no luck, I can find some about him in Illinois
and Oregon, same with his wife, whose parents I also haven't discovered, but
nothing about Sawyers or James' in North Carolina. I guess I will have to
give up on them.

We seem to be missing a name.

There was one death in Benton county on that date:
Name: Gant, Reuben
Spouse Name:
Death Date: 06 Dec 1916
County: Benton (town is never included)
Certificate No.: 129

No Yamhill deaths on that date
Reuben is listed in Pleasant Hill Cemetery
