I believe if you look on Google earth, follow north along Prairie Road north
of Beacon Drive to where Prairie turns Northwest, follow again for another
1/4 mile about to where it turns back to North - Northwest and right as it
turns there is a driveway on right, it looks to me like the cemetery must be
just above the house on that driveway, if that isn't it, I don't think it is
there anymore, if you yahoo the address David gave us, you get nothing but
bare dirt, if you pull the distances in the ODOT description, going either
up 99 or Prairie Road for two miles and then 1/2 mile east of 99; again
nothing but bare dirt. I emailed my Sis-in-law who is listed on the ODOT
page as a look-up source for some of the Lane Co Cemeteries to see if she
has been there. If she has she probably knows who to contact about getting
in, unfortunately if they are travelling, I may not hear from her until
after you make the trip.

I'm putting together several directions I found on the internet.
http://www.rootsweb.com/~orlane/links/lanecems.htm says 2 miles north of
Irving, ¼ mile east of Highway 99
http://www.daddezio.com/cemetery/junction/CJ-OR-003.html says Beacon Rd in
Eugene

My map program shows Luper Community and a Beacon Dr. W near Hwy 99 so I
would guess that is about where it is located.  These are the driving
directions I gather from those conclusions:
Go North off Beltline Hwy out of Eugene on Hwy 99W.  Go past E Enid Rd and
turn right on Awbrey Ln, when the road T's turn left on Prairie Rd and go to
Beacon Drive W

ALTERNATE ROUTE:  You could also take Prairie Rd North off Beltline Hwy,
pass Awbrey Ln and arrive at Beacon Dr.

However, on Google Earth I can not SEE a cemetery at that intersection.
Luper Community is just West of Prairie Rd a pinch further North from
Beacon.

Perhaps someone else has actually been there.

Does anyone know how to get to the Luper Cemetery near Eugene?  I know that
it is in the Irving area on the north side of Eugene, supposedly not too far
from Hwy 99W, but I don't know it's exact location or how to get there.
