Not much luck, in 1920 I find a Fred Dotson Blalcok pct Gilliam co., age 17
b. Oregon, but he won't fit your scenario. No sign of Fred Sr. and what
DeMoss I came up with in 1860 and 1870, nothing like Mary Elizabeth.

Unfortunately HQ image is very poor, all you folks with Ancestry, step up
and help out, looks like son-in-law Denton, 25? no idea of given name, Emma
dau 20? and Jefferson Son 1?

About all I can say for sure is Frederick born in Virginia and rest in
Oregon, ages and dates mostly indecipherable.

No further luck trying to find them in 1880 or 1870 etc

  I'm seeking information on a Mary Elizabeth DeMoss, born around 1830,
married
Frederick Mortimer Dotson and died in 1898 at age 58 in Eugene, Oregon.  Her
children were Hariette, Mable Lucy and Fred.  She is thought to have been
born
in Camp Creek, Oregon in the general area of Madras.  She is thought to have
been
related to the DeMoss Family Bards who came from Iowa in the 1860's.
