BAKER, VAN BLARICOM (VAN BLARICUM):
Baker and VB's arrived Oregon early 1870's, after swarm of locusts
(crickets?) destroyed their crops in Walla Walla. WA. David Frank Baker and
his wife Drusilla (Van Blaricom) and her family all arrived in the Vernonia,
Columbia county area after that. David Frank Baker was Vernonia's first
postmaster.
He is a brick wall for me so far. I am having a hard time finding out where
he lived (or who his parents were) before marrying into VB line. I think he
served in the Civil War...but the name is so common.

EARLY, JAYNE:
I believe they arrived in Oregon, Yamhill county area, abt. 1900.
Admiral/Albert Nelson Early, Squire J. Early, etc. Albert Nelson Early was
a Civil War vet. Emma Ruth (Jayne) married Admiral/Albert Nelson Early.
Buried in Tigard, by Washington Square. Their daughter Lida Anna Early
married into Baker line, then divorced - buried next to her parents.

HAINES, HAYNES, WORTHINGTON:
This line arrived in Oregon before 1900. Oswego/Oregon City, Clackamas
county area. Iron workers, came here to work at new pig iron plant.

HEADRICK, MILLER, HICKS, COON:
This line arrived in Oswego, Clackamas county, Oregon before 1900.
Archibald Headrick born in Scotland, son James Edward born in Canada. James
also came here to work at the pig iron plant. James' wife Medora (Hicks)
died in 1896 in Oregon. James then married Rosetta Haines - sister of his
daughter Jessie Medora's husband John Cole Haines. James later divorced
from Rosetta and is buried with Medora in Lake Oswego Pioneer Cemetery.

LEONARD, MONTAGUE (MONTAG):
Arrived in Sellwood, Oregon area abt. 1905. My brick wall in this line is
my ggrandmother, Sarah Ann/Anna Leonard (or Montague/Montag) born in 1899
(on a small island?) in area of Bark River/Escanaba, Delta county, Michigan.
Her mother was a Leonard, Ellen/Lizzie/Elizabeth, who married a
French-Canadian in 1898, a John Montague/Montag. Divorced from him a couple
years later. Ellen then came to Oregon with her parents, the Leonards, in
abt. 1905, bringing her 2 daughters, Sarah and Emma. This line is Swedish
or Norwegian, I think. Sarah married into the Haines line.

GREENWAY, GREENAWAY, KAMPNAAR (KEMPENAAR, KAMPNAR, etc): Arrived in
Tillamook, Beaver area after 1944. This line is Dutch, with Kampnaar
arriving in USA in 1905, and marrying into the Greenaway line. Greenaways
arrived in 1860's and settled in Chicago area, then Wisconsin, then Montana,
and briefly to Canada before settling in Tillamook county, Oregon.

WISEMAN, NAGLE: Also arrived in Tillamook, Oregon area after 1944.
Wiseman's arrived in USA in 1865 from Ireland, settled in Wisconsin. Son
Edward had arrived earlier, with uncle, a Nagle. Edward's granddaughter,
Helen, married into the Greenway line and moved to Oregon.

PARKER: Ellen Parker married Edward Wiseman, Grant county, Wisconsin. She
is a brick wall for me, as the name is so common. She never made it to
Oregon.

HERRING, MCKINNEY: Paul Edward Wiseman and wife Bessie (Herring) arrived in
Tillamook county, Oregon area after 1944, following their daughter Helen,
who had married into the Greenway line. The Herring and McKinney lines go
way back. Herring married Ruth Ann McKinney in Wisconsin. Their daughter,
Bessie, married into the Wiseman line.
