One of the links I listed says something about Glen Park being a great
hunter --

I have to remark about my 2nd cousin, Tom Bolack, and his son, Tommy, of
the B-Square Ranch near Farmington, NM -- http://www.bolackmuseums.com/
(don't know why they let the b-squareranch.com domain expire)

The Bolack Museum of Fish and Wildlife is a tribute not only to a
renowned sportsman, but also a concerned conservationist. The website
does not show any pictures of the exhibits, probably as the conservation
angle is heavily emphasized in 'correct PC' context, but at one time at
least, the exhibits at the Safari Club paled in comparison to what was
at the Bolack museum. It was just the garishness of the Safari Club,
along with its reputation as a logger's bar (with good food), that drew
the crowds -- not someplace you wanted to go to Friday or Saturday night
unless you were prepared ...

And while I'm yaking about Governors and such on a genealogy list, Gov
Preston Smith of Texas is also a (very distant) cousin. Tom Felix
Bolack (Gov NM 1962-1965?) and Preston Earnest Smith (Gov TX 1968-1976)
are 7th cousins, twice removed. Their common ancestors are Thwaite
Strickland and Elizabeth Shepard. It is quite likely they did not know
of this relationship.

fwiw,

Bill S
