I live in Redmond and would be happy to go to The Bend
Bulletin Newspaper office next week to see if I can find the obituary for
you.  I know they don't have things on line.  I will also check the Redmond
Spokesman as obituaries often appear in both newspapers.

Did your MENDENHALL live between Redmond and Madras near Opal Springs?
There is a MEBNDENHALL house that's just off Highway 97 north of Juniper
Butte in what used to be known as Opal Springs. I believe parts of the house
are still there in the stand of trees.  I know the people who currently live
and farm on the property.

Do you have a photo of the headstone at Redmond Memorial Gardens?  I'd be
glad to get one for you, if you like.
