This would have been too early. Thomas Howell was only 17 in 1880 and although his mother’s name was Adeline, her maiden name was Northrup and she married Stanford Howell.
Thanks for looking.
Dale

I am trying to find out when the Howell’s lived in Milton-Freewater. I could never find them anywhere in the 1900 census but I know they had to be there or somewhere nearby.
The family was Thomas Howell and his wife Lillie May and their children, William, Clara, Ida, Venus, Nora Bell and that’s all I can remember.
Thanks,
Dale

If you mean where is Umatilla County Historical Society.........we are in Pendleton Oregon which is the county seat of Umatilla County. Is there something we can do to help you? I will be happy to search anything you need.
