Yes, that is Mike's grandpa a few generations back.  Mike is a walking history and a super guy.  He has authored several books and might have the answer to the photograph question.  Just google in Mike Hanley, Jordan Valley, Oregon and it should give you his phone number and address.  He and his wife are just wonderful people.  Diane

    Perhaps you might check with Mike Hanley of Jordan Valley.  He is very interested in the history of the ION area and Silver City.  He also has written a couple ob books about that area.  Perhaps he would have some leads.
