I took a drive today to check this out.  Wouldn't you know they are closed 
this week but didn't mention anything about a holiday schedule on their 
website.  I'll have to try again next week.

 Apparently they have the obituary at the Jackson County Genealogical 
Society
 so I'll try to get out there and pick up a copy for you.

 I did not find his name in the list of Jackson County cemetey indexes.
