You are of course, quite correct about the location of the Klamath River 
drainage and Paisley, however, you are quite in error to attribute this 
to the archaeological folks.  It is part of a blog by K. Kris Hirst 
<http://archaeology.about.com/mbiopage.htm>, "About.com Guide to 
Archaeology since 1997" -- to try and taint the whole findings of the 
study because somebody on the internet writes something that is rather 
misinformed, well ...    One of those websites does refer to the 
geological seperation between the Klamth drainage and the landlocked 
lakes of Lake County (which are hard to call a "drainage"), mentioning 
the Chewaucan as the only breach of that seperation.

So you must live up by the airport instead of "downtown", eh?
