You are right, I've already found Jay Glanville's site. He doesn't have  
anything I don't already have.

I think you will find your grandfather indexed as G William Pringle.   He is 
in Berlinn Precinct Harper Co Kansas.  They are the last entry on  image 6,
The ink is badly smudged, but ages place of birth and Carrie is  legible.

One more thing. If anyone can find this on Heritage Quest, is it any  clearer?
