[or-roots] Name coincidences

James P. (assume it's P., not proven) Tatum was born in VA in 1755. Married Amy Sharp(e) about 1779. They lived in Rowan and Ashe Counties, NC. A daughter married a Howell. Part of Ashe became Watauga Co. I think and Amy lived there after he died.
