You probably have it (and I haven't been following this), but the 1880 has
William in Ashland.

L L, 9 Daughter, (all children are: OR IL OH)

L L, 5, daughter 

L L, 3, daughter

B B, 15, son

P P, 11, son

Modisette, S M, 33, divorced, at home, Missouri, Maryland, Kentucky

Leonora, 11, dau, at school, (all children are: Cal, ___, Missouri)

May, 8, dau, at school

Lillian, 6, at home

As you can see, they were near neighbors.

 

Curious about your Wm B Royal - we had a bunch coming out of Virginia - some
married Browns and the names became things like William Royal Brown.  These
were through Tennessee, Memphis area. Don't recall if any went to Illinois.

 

Who were Wm's parents?

N. Modisette were married 19 June 1881 in Ashland, Jackson, Oregon.

Thanks for help you nice folks, we found more information on the William B.
Royal, MD family.  His wife Elizabeth Imes Hall Royal died in Wilbur,
Douglas, Oregon on 4 April 1880.  They were married in Douglas County about
1849.

Children:  Laura Leon Royal died 4 June 1880,  Lizzie Lincoln Royal, died 20
October 1867, Lizzie Louise Royal died 26 January 1860..prrbably all in
Wilbur, Oregon.

I could not find the Wilbur, Oregon cemetry records on-line nor any marriage
records for that time frame.

The second wife of William Royal was Mrs. S. N. Modisette (?).  Anyone have
any information on her?  They probably wed in Douglas County.
