O.K. I know where Burns is so I am guessing you are near either Umatilla
or Morrow County. You keep talking about being out in the boonies but I
am curious about where you are talking about. Also, is it freezing
there?
Dale

I cant afford Ancestry nor can I afford a newer version of FTM.
I also got word today they are raising rates to 200 buks.
So with being retired is what people want, I worked when wages were very
low
and don't get a lot of SS so after every things paid, I got a few buks
to
put upgrades on the out in the boonies homestead. This month we are
looking
for a Dutch oven for campfire, the hanging type, also one to make bread
in.
Then I have a special wind mill to make and need some scrap piles for

parts, scavenging is fun, never know what you can do with junk.
As for my little bit of spending money I was looking for some places
to
find used items like second hand stores in the area. I was wondering
about
Burns and places on that side of us rather than always going to Bend and

Redmond we wore those out.
Lots of things I could cart home if I could find them, yard sales,
freebies etc..
Now as for the current genealogy Items - any thing on Julia, Walter as
mentioned before, I am up dating my website working with the first name
I
have proof of `who is` Broadwater Matney, great great grand father also
was
sposed to be on the 1850 trail to Oregon. We don't have a picture so far
as
we know.
   See www.d-matney.com for my project.
