There are four Paisley's in the world, Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland;
Paisley, Ontario, Canada; Paisley Lake, Florida and Paisley, Lake, Oregon

Tradition tells us that Charles Mitchell-Innes suggested the village be
named named Paisley, after his hometown of Paisley in Scotland. He was
quite a horseman. Mitchell-Innes is buried in the Paisley cemetery.
