Hi Marsha -
I would love to find a living McCubbins descendant like myself that I could talk with, maybe they would know about my McCubbins ancestors. This year were having our 119th Hanson & Lavina (Wickard) Stevens reunion. Sorry to say, I am the only McCubbins descendant that goes.. That's why I'm having a hard time finding any help, the older ones are all gone..

Thanks! Have you been able to traced Ruth McCubbins & her father James McCubbins back a generation or two. I know you have alot on the Leabos, but I'm searching for Ruth McCubbins grandparents on her father James McCubbins side.

In Tennesse were the Leabo's and Jennings associated with George Washington and Laffayete. Sarah Jennings and Francios Isiach Leabas Married. Moved to Illinoise. and from there you can find in monroe Co. The proof you
need. Then Noah and 3 of his brothers moved off to Oregon

Can you relate the Leabo's of Claiborne County, TN to any of the McCubbins that lived there and Marion Co., OR. too? I know Leabo married a McCubbins in Marion Co., OR.
McCubbins are my family in OR.. You know that already : ).

The new Ferry is called the Daniel Matheny V it is named after my gt.gt.gt. grandfather who was one of the first owners of the Ferry.
