[or-roots] wait 50 years death certificates

I thought there's a 50 year wait. Why do they say that on there web site. I'm confused.

    I really don't understand why Death certificates are restricted for 50 years after the date of the event to family members in order to get one, must be a good reason I guess.
    A family member died Sept. 24 2009, I would like to have her death certificate.
