I do not know anything more about Ruth, other than she was my grandmother's sister, when she was born and where she lived when with her parents, via the US census. My father ran off from Portland when he was about twenty into the British Columbia woods, took a new name and had a wonderful imaginary family based on the accomplishments of his uncles and cousins. I only found this "real family" a few years ago, and they know less than I about the family. So I am stuck by the looks of it.Thanks for the interest and helpful ideas,Lynda

Listen to conversation. Sorry to interupt, but some ideas.
Often did all of there documents with given name but when by name every one called them. I too have a great aunt who had 4 first name and went by any order she choose on any given day and married multiple times.

searching Family Search Oregon marriage collections
for these ten couples and turned up not one of them
in any combination of Surname with spouse Rose or
Ruth. I didn't try Rose Sides etc since listing her
mother as Nevin makes me think it is highly unlikely
she is the right person.
