I am using Gallery to post pictures and comments on my site.
No cookies, no adds, no spam, no junk, just a fun place.
free.
I went to face book once, to see my grankids pictures by my Dau, I was instantly compromised and took 3 years to get rid on the reoccurring trash from going to face book and having to sign in. Same thing happened with My Space. Just not ever going back to that. I have to many groups and members to get my pc ruined.

        Dale and all Facebook neophytes.

It isn't really as intimidating as it seems at first glance. With respect to Stephenie's page you have two options if you wish to comment you can either "like" the page; see box with "Like" in it next to Message opposite the title. Note that if you use the "message" button, your message will be private to Stephenie and or anyone she has authorized to manage her page, as opposed to anything you post to the page itself which is view-able by anyone with access to the page.

Or you can friend Stephenie which it appears to me the only way I can do is send her a private message as I don't see a provision for requesting to be a friend of the page, But I have mostly never asked to be a friend, just sort of got friended anyone that asked me.

As to the lack of info on the facebook page, most of her stuff is at another site, as I understand it Stephenie has set up this for discussion page, It can be sort of like a chat room, but the advantage here is the conversation is available and the conversation can go on for months.

do be aware there are a lot of scammers that have various gambits to either just mess with your page or try and con you out of money etc. I have a personal vendetta against timeline so absolutely refuse to do anything with any of the apps. It is best to omit your year of birth from any place on face book, as well as birth city and a lot of the stuff people will send you from time to time are just ways to try and trick you into posting to much personal info in hopes of using it to scam you. One of my cousins is 143 years old on her face book page. Lots of luck stealing her identity.

I have a password and all that on Facebook but I just don't know how to use it. Don't have any teenagers in my family.
