Dear Listers,

I am sorry, the link I used was intended to show the progress of the indexing for Oregon and the other states that are now available. The site is  for the 1940 U.S. Census Community Project but does include links to the various sponsors that do have the images available..  I didn't intend to confuse people regarding actual access to the images.  I hope everybody has now been able to access one of the several sites that offers the actual indexed images.

If not please email me off-list directly (layne.g.sawyer at state.or.us) and I will try to assist you in finding one of the sites.
