[or-roots] More Census whining

Several people on this list participated (or are participating) in the effort to index the 1940 census. I found my family in Josephine county. My father's middle initial was "T". The enumerator got it right, but it was indexed as "J". My question -- how can an individual get the record corrected?

Found a real good one today, off in my distant cousins on the eastern seaboard and find father and son two doors apart in the 1860 census both listed as age 47, nice try guys but dad was 57 and son was 27.

Love to know how that got where it got to.

And I would really love to show it to the lady at North Bend FHC who insisted I had to assume the information was more or less correct.
