Someone got me the correct information so I could find them some silly variation on the name I was looking for I hadn't thought of. It was an interesting search though as I ran across a great uncle who had his niece living with him two years before they got married. Horace SR. Was only the third Doctor that Prineville Oregon had, Sr. was born at Bellfountain. There are two books on the Belknap's on the McKenzie "Blue McKenzie" and "Early Days on the McKenzie" both by Leroy Inman who was a news paperman in Eugene and his family were early on the McKenzie. I have all the Belknap History and a lot of photos, ha d to research them and find descendents do to a BIA Probate we were going through. It turns out that the Bradleys( my family) were connected by marriage to many of the other familys in that area. Linn Co Library has alot of information on early families at the Bellfountain Cemetery. You know in the depression some of the Belknaps that lived on the Mckenzi ( aunt Martha Shelly) would have been her sister inlaw moved to merced in Ca. Believe they came came back, around dalles.
