The Umailla County Historical Society published a book titled One and Two
Room Schools which covered all of them in the county.  They have good
collection of records.

Dale,
 Yes, the book and the research file does have Mlton records.  There are
also some school records at the courthouse.
Years ago the ESD  had  early 1900 school census records but the last time
I asked for them, they could not be found.  Those were the only school
records they had.  I live in Pendldeton., am past president of the
genealogical society, past Historical Society  board member and long time
volunteer at the courthouse.   If you all can be more specific about what
you you need, I can help.

Well, in the 1910 census my grandmother and her sisters and brother were
all living in Milton and it said that she was in school.  I would love to
see anything that would have her or any of her siblings on it.  Her name
was Venus Howell and her sisters were Nora Bell, Gertrude, Clara and her
brother Lesley Howell.
