[or-roots] information about doctors in early Oregon

Thanks, Layne.  Between you and me we have a trove of information on this man. It is interesting that he and Lucinda seem to have left God's Country and went back to Iowa and Wisconsin.  But at this time I am going to let him go because he is, after all, only the 2nd spouse of the 1st spouse of the 2nd spouse of my Great-great-great-grandmother.  But it has been fun tracing him.

The divorce was finalized in late 1853 (around September) In that time period the legislative assembly had to pass an act that finalized the divorce.  In the records here it indicates that Wilson Fisher and Lucinda McFeely were married in 1844/45 in Indiana.  (Ancestry has Indiana marriage records online and shows them married April 18, 1844 in Montgomery County).  The divorce action was begun by Wilson and he charged Lucinda with adultery during the time they were living in Washington County.  By the time the court was taking testimony there are references to Lucinda being in Thurston County or “Puget Sound” area.
