May I call you Dale?  You are right, Find a Grave is tool.  Ancestry.com is a tool. The US Federal Census Records is a tool, however bad the information is.  This site is a tool where people submit their information.  I don’t know if what is submitted is good or bad.  I have at time a problem with the way they provide it without a source.  I like reading their input.  As a family researcher, I use all the tool I can to gain information on my family.    

Too bad you think “Find A Grave” often has bad information.  I am a submitter and have created many records for my family.  When I find wrong information I submitted a correction and it either fixed or a reason is given when not changed. 

I always used information I have first-hand knowledge.

You have to be careful with findagrave, often they have bad information.  It is a tool but not the last one to use.

Have you check the ”Find A Grave” Web site?  I find many of my family grave site there and sometime an obituary is uploaded. I found my 8th paternal great grandmother Anna Barbara Schone Blaankenbaker Fleischmann Schlucter on that site.

Gary Murray may have been in contact with my maternal grandmother Hazel Frances Shaver Vlahos about her biological mother.  Her biological mother was Nettie Hutchinson. Her first name may have actually been Nancy but I dont know. She was briefly married to Ulysses Grant Shaver (son of Francis Marion Shaver and Nancy Turnbull(?) Shaver)  and gave birth to Hazel and Clifford Shaver. The marriage did not last long. Any other information about Hutchinsons and/or Shavers would be appreciated. Frances Vlahos-Rohm
