The Dept. Of Natural Resources Cultural Resource Program is recruiting
for:

PROFESSIONAL IV-TRIBAL ARCHAEOLOGIST HR-07-068 

will develop, conduct and review archaeological field work, data
analysis and reporting.  Position will hire, train and supervise Field
Archeologist, Archaeological Crew Leader and Archaeological Field
technicians, and also do fieldwork within the Nez Perce Reservation and
the Tribe*s ceded, usual and accustomed areas.  Position is expected
to serve on technical committees responsible for managing cultural
resources.  Position requires a graduate degree (Masters or Ph.D.)  

Requires at least one year of full-time professional experience or
equivalent specialized training archaeological research, administration
or management, and demonstrated ability to carry research to completion,
a professional in prehistoric archaeology shall have at least one year
of full-time professional experience at a supervisory level in the study
of archaeological resources of the historic period, two (2) years of
supervisory experience, knowledge and experience with experimental study
design, statistics, fish or wildlife population dynamics and modeling or
habitat restoration.  Valid driver*s license with the ability to be
insured under the Tribe*s policy.  (If your driver*s license is not
issued from Idaho or Washington; a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) from the
state of your driver*s license is issued, is required with your
application).  This position is open until filled.
