ARCH CAPE CANNONS HEADED FOR PRIME TIME

The two cannons found at Arch Cape last spring will be featured on public television's History Detectives during the next couple of weeks.

The program will be shown by both Southern Oregon Public Television and Oregon Public Broadcasting. SOPTV will have the first showing at 9 p.m. Sept. 8 on its channel HD 8.1. It will be repeated on that channel, as well as on the station's Channel 8 and HD 8.2 during the following week.

OPB will show it on its Oregon Channel at 12 a.m. Sept. 9, with the first showing on its regular OPB channels at 9 p.m. Sept. 15. Both will repeat broadcasts. Complete OPB schedule information can be found at www.opb.org
