TWO GRANT DEADLINES FAST APPROACHING

Deadlines for applications for Oregon Museum Grants and Alderson Internship Grants are set for the next few weeks.

Oregon museums that meet certain qualifications are eligible to apply for Oregon Museum Grants. The grants support Oregon museums in projects for the collection and management of heritage collections, for heritage-related tourism, and heritage education and interpretations. Applications for the next round are due Nov. 24. A second round of applications will be accepted until May 17. The American Association for State and Local History is offering its institutional members with budgets under $250,000 the opportunity to apply for the Alderson Internship Grant Program. Application forms can be found at www.aaslh.org/alderson.htm.  The application deadline is
