For anyone in Salem on January 30th (also see attached flyer)

"Gathering of Oregon's First Nations" is a wonderful pow-wow featuring educational booths, Native American craft demonstrations, cultural drumming, dancing and Tribal vendors.

It will be located in the Salem Pavilion at the Oregon State Fair & Expo Center on 2330 17th Street NE, Salem.

It will be from 10am to 10pm and the Grand Entries will be at 1pm and 6pm.

The pow-wow features MC Nick Sixkiller and Arena Director Carlos Calica

Parking will be $3.00

The event is sponsored by Oregon State Parks, the Confederated Tribes of the Coos, Lower Umpqua & Siuslaw, the Coquille Indian Tribe, the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Indians, the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde Community of Oregon, and the Confederated Tribes of the Siletz Indians.
