DESCRIPTION:
	The Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) is currently seeking a
Recreation, Social and Cultural Resource Specialist to provide social
science expertise in the areas of recreation, land use, and cultural
resource management for EWEB’s FERC licensed hydroelectric projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementation of, and
ongoing compliance with, recreation, land use, historic properties
management plans, and will provide planning, analysis, project
management, contract administration, and construction oversight.

We're looking for candidates with strong environmental and natural
resource backgrounds, who are skilled at building relationships with
agencies, stakeholders, and tribes to balance the goals and objectives
of EWEB while maintaining compliance with all state and federal
guidelines and laws. Experience in Relicensing and new license
implementation highly preferred.

This position also requires a supplemental questionnaire. Applications

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
	Requirements As A Qualification & Progression
 
Experience: Five years technical experience in recreation, land use
and/or cultural resource planning, management, or regulatory compliance,
or some combination thereof. Experience should include managing one or
more of the resource areas in the context of FERC-licensed projects.

Education and/or training: A Bachelor’s Degree (related Master’s
Degree preferred) in Environmental, Physical Sciences, Recreation or
Social Science preferred. A combination of education and experience may
also be qualifying.
