HISTORIC PRESERVATION MONTH FAIR SLATED AT CAPITOL

Sixteen organizations will participate from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. May 20 in a
Historic Preservation Fair at the Oregon Capitol. 

Participating organizations include Mission Mill Museum, Salem
Landmarks Commission, Deepwood Estates, Willamette University, Oregon
State Hospital Museum, Bush House Museum, Oregon State Parks and
Recreation Department, Oregon Cultural Trust, State Parks, Oregon
Department of Transportation, Oregon State Archives, Oregon State
Library, and from  the state's Historic Cemeteries and National Register
programs will have tables as will the Oregon Historic Trails Advisory
Council, the Oregon and California Trails Association, and the Oregon
Century Farm and Ranch Program. 

The Oregon Capitol will offer a 30-minute tour of the building at 11:30
a.m. and State Capitol Park Ranger Jim Bader and his team will lead
tours of the Capitol grounds at 12:15 p.m..
