[OR_Archaeology] Historic Ft. Hoskins has weekend plans!

Dr. Dave Brauner (OSU) and his students are currently excavating at Ft. Hoskins until August 14th.  They are excavating in the vicinity of the root cellar and powder magazine. Some interesting finds have been uncovered. 
 
A group of military infantry re-enactors plans an encampment and demonstrations at Ft. Hoskins this coming weekend.  Dr. Brauner has been trying to organize this in conjunction with the archaeological work. 

The group will be setting up camp on the parade grounds this Friday evening with a majority of the demonstrations taking place Saturday from 8am - 2 pm.
