The Transportation Research Board (TRB) Committee on Historic and
Archeological Preservation in Transportation (ADC50) will hold a midyear
meeting on July 24-27, 2011, in Portland, Oregon. This meeting serves as
an important venue for discussing current and best practices and
disseminating research in support of the committee’s mission: ADC50 is
concerned with cultural resources that may be affected by transportation
projects to include historic properties, structures, districts,
landscapes, prehistoric and historic archeological properties,
Traditional Cultural
Properties, Native American Interests, 20th-century properties and
issues associated with historic ethnic communities.
ADC50 invites proposals from individuals who wish to present case
studies, posters or current research related to relevant
topics and resource types.

Proposals will be evaluated by the ADC50 Program Subcommittee, which is
responsible for developing the final program. Please note that the
subcommittee will reserve time on the program for papers and/or sessions
at its discretion, and may schedule papers and proposals received by
other means. Please see the attached PDF document for complete proposal
details.

Interested individuals should electronically submit proposals to Emily
Pettis at emily.pettis at meadhunt.com by April 15, 2011.
