[OR_Archaeology] AOA Research Grant - Due February 1st

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to remind everyone of the AOA Research Grant opportunity, awarded each year for up to $500.  Grant recipients need not be members of the Association nor residents of Oregon, but their proposals must have a focus on Oregon archaeology.  Applicants must have a minimum of a master's degree in anthropology or related field, or have a sponsor with these qualifications who is an active participant or advisor in the project. Also, grant recipients are required to present their research at an AOA meeting, and are encouraged to publish in the Association's Occasional Papers series or in CAHO, the Association's newsletter.  The grant recipient will be announced at the upcoming NWAC in Portland on March 28, 2012.

If you or anyone you know would like to submit an application, please apply before February 1st.  I have attached a copy of the grant application.  Also, please note that you may submit it by email to me if you would prefer.  If you have any questions, please let me know.
