Hi folks,

I wanted to pass this along to you in case you know if any Historic Preservation (e.g. archaeologists, architectural historians, tribal consultation coordinators, etc.) or Environmental Compliance Specialists (e.g. NEPA specialists, biologists, wetland scientists, hazard materials experts, coastal zone management people, etc) interested in becoming a FEMA Reservist deployed nationally through FEMA HQ to work on disaster recovery operations.

There are also other positions available in 11 other cadres. These end up being on-call part-time positions with limited benefits and are suitable for folks looking for part-time supplemental work.

The application period for positions in the Reservist Program is pretty short, it opens Monday March 25, 2013, and closes at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Friday, March 29, 2013.

See email below for info on how to apply. Please share with others.

Thank you.

Lydia Kachadoorian, RPA
Deputy Regional Environmental Officer
FEMA Region I, Mitigation Division
