Are you a student or recent graduate pursuing a career in historic
preservation? If so, Restore Oregon might have a paid internship just
for you!
Restore Oregon is a historic preservation nonprofit (formerly known as
the Historic Preservation League of Oregon) that has provided advocacy,
education, and technical assistance on preservation issues since 1977.
As the statewide partner of the National Trust for Historic
Preservation, Restore Oregon works across Oregon on issues related to
the revitalization of Main Streets, reuse of heritage barns, saving
Oregon’s Most Endangered Places®, and adoption of appropriate
preservation policies and standards. The Restore Oregon office is a
fast-paced environment where multitasking and responsiveness are
critical to successfully supporting historic preservation efforts across
Oregon. For the first time in recent years, we are offering a part-time
six-month paid internship for a student or recent graduate with
experience in historic preservation and an enthusiasm for the work of
Restore Oregon.
Visit http://restoreoregon.org/restore-oregon-is-hiring-an-intern/ for
more details. Applications due by email January 24, 2014.
