Archaeological Contracts Program Manager

Full-Time Position.
Salary Range: $62,400 - $70,720 (experience dependent)

Job Description
Warm Springs Geo Visions (WSGV) Cultural Resource Group is seeking an Archaeological Contracts Program Manager to manage projects for client contracts and implement quality assurance and control that ensures fieldwork, analysis, and report production is completed in accordance with Oregon State Historic Preservation Office standards. The incumbent is responsible for the implementation and management of the Archaeological Contracting Department of the Cultural Resources Division of WSGV; which includes contract development, cliental relationships, budget and proposal development, supervisory of staff archaeological staff, quality control of product and represent WSGV in a professional manner.

Responsibilities:
* Maintain safety first
* Represent Warm Springs Geo Visions in a professional manner during interactions with clients,
                agencies, landowners, and staff
* Seek and develop contracts
* Develop and maintain good public (tribal and non-tribal) and client relationships.
* Leadership (problem solving, decision making, team building, and conflict resolution)
* Data Quality Assurance /Quality Control, time-management and organizational skills
* Supervision of Professional Archaeological staff
* Mentor and develop staff
* Maintain good work ethics and accurate up-to-date records
* Ensure contracts are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
* Manage of own projects / contracts.
* Carry out duties with little or no supervision.
* Be a team player

Qualifications:
* A minimum of a Master's Degree in Anthropology or a closely related field and meet Secretary
                of Interior Standards
* Past archaeological field experience in the Pacific Northwest, with an emphasis in North
                American archaeology or history and have a current technical specialization (e.g., lithic
                specialists, history, ethnography, geo archaeology)
* A minimum of 3 years cultural resource project management and budgetary experience, with
                5-years field supervisory experience, and a demonstrated successful completion of final
                reports                 consistent with the Secretary of Interior's Standards and Guidelines for
                Archaeology and Historic Preservation
* Ability to coordinate personnel and other resources within budgetary constraints
* Experience with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act
* Experience with the National Environmental Protection Act is a plus, but not required

Knowledge & Skills:
* Strong background in cultural resource management practices including project planning, management oversight of multiple projects, which include: archaeological field survey, site documentation and evaluation techniques
* Understanding of cultural resource tribal, federal, state and local laws and regulations
* Excellent communication and logistical skills
* Excellent technical editing skills
* Adept at working with a variety of colleagues and clients
* Commitment to fiscal and scheduling responsibilities for projects of all sizes and scopes
* Knowledge of and respect for Tribal traditions, values and techniques
