There is only 1 week left to get your application in for AOA's Student
Travel Award!! Please see the information below:


The Association of Oregon Archaeologists (AOA) is pleased to present the
AOA 2017 Student Travel Award!

This award is intended to offset the cost of travel to the 2017 Northwest
Anthropological Conference (NWAC) in Spokane, WA. The award will be open to
any undergraduate or graduate student currently enrolled in a university or
college and whose research they are presenting on directly contributes to
and enhances our understanding of Oregon archaeology.

A $300 cash award will be given to the best original paper or poster based
on their application. The winning paper/poster will be announced at the
NWAC Banquet and its abstract will be published in a future edition of
CAHO, the AOA’s quarterly newsletter.  All entries who present will be
recognized in a future edition of CAHO and receive a year's student
membership to AOA. *Application deadline is March 31th, 2017.*
Participants must comply with all NWAC submission deadlines.
