If anyone has an easy source for broken fragments of quartz that display triboluminescence when rubbed against each other... I would like to have about 1/4 pound for making rattles that glow blue when shaken in the dark. The ones I have seen years that work are white, not clear, and irregular and about 1/2 inch in size scattered around on the ground. Cannot remember where they were.
