The USACE Willamette Valley Program is looking to hire a field archaeologist

by way of Colorado State University, Center for Environmental Management of

Military Lands.  The position description is posted here:

Position Summary

This position is located at U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fern Ridge Office

near Eugene, Oregon. Duties include, but are not limited to, small scale

archeological survey, evaluation, and monitoring, research and reporting of

fieldwork, maintenance of paper and electronic records including GIS data,

and supervision and management of field technicians or volunteers for the

survey and evaluation activities. The position will require frequent travel

(day trips and overnight) within the Willamette Valley to conduct fieldwork.

The position is hired on a yearly basis.
