[OR_Archaeology] Website Update

Hi Everyone,

Oregon Heritage and Oregon SHPO have a new website<http://www.oregonheritage.org/>! Please take some time to check it out and find all the stuff you need on a regular basis.  I do want to point out a few things that have changed.

The following forms and guidance have been significantly changed.  Please download a new copy.

  *   Archaeology Bulletins 1, 2, and 3
  *   Oregon State Archaeology Permit application
  *   Private Landowner Letter
  *   Inadvertent Discovery Plan Template
  *   Report Cover form continuation sheets (the old version had a bug that made them mostly unusable)

In addition to those changes we have added the following guidance and forms:

  *   Archaeology Bulletin 4 - How to hire a professional archaeologist
  *   Archaeology Bulletin 5 - Archaeology Permit - research design
  *   Guidance on how to manage your accounts with the Oregon SHPO
  *   Permit Amendment form
  *   Instructions for the permit amendment form

Much of our old information is still there it may just be located outside of the archaeology page, so please look around.  If you need a form or document that is not on the new website please contact SHPO staff.
