[OR_Archaeology] OARRA update

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to update everyone on where we are with our OARRA issues.  The sites functions are continuing to degrade with the server system change.  Currently we understand that people have had problems with the GLO's, T/R/S, search by address, print map, and occasionally with downloading forms.  We have no work arounds for these issues except if you cannot download a form.

If you are having trouble downloading a form please use the "feedback" button in the upper right hand corner of OARRA and provide the SHPO biblio of the report and/or the site number.  This function is monitored by multiple staff and is the best way to ensure a quick response.

If you are experiencing other issues not listed above please contact our office using the "feedback" button in the upper right hand corner of OARRA so that we can document these issues.

If you need functions not currently available because of the glitch in the system, you can make a research appointment with our office by contacting myself (Jamie.French at oregon.gov<mailto:Jamie.French at oregon.gov>), John Pouley (John.Pouley at oregon.gov<mailto:John.Pouley at oregon.gov>) or Shane James (Shane.James at oregon.gov).

What next - Our IT department is currently working on a new version of OARRA.  We do not have an anticipated date of delivery at this time.  There are some essential functions that they are still trying to make work in the new system.  That being said we are working at the same time to improve OARRA and add as many new functions as we can. If you have any suggestions for additional features in OARRA please email myself (Jamie.French at oregon.gov<mailto:Jamie.French at oregon.gov>).  When the new version of OARRA is available there will be some kind of training or instructions made available.
