Hello All,

The Northwest Oregon District Archaeologist position is now open on USA Jobs! It closes on 6/1. It has been reclassified as supervisory and covers the Northwest corner of Oregon. There are 5 Field Offices including an Outstanding Natural area and historic lighthouse at Yaquina Head. The District manages approximately 720,000 acres from the Coast to the Cascades, and is the largest timber producing District. The position will oversee a busy cultural resources program providing support for large recreation, aquatics, timber and other natural resource programs. The cultural team will consist of 6 permanent archaeologists including the Supervisory District Archaeologist and additional seasonal techs out of two office locations.
