[OR_Archaeology] Tony Farque Retirement from the USFS

Tony Farque has retired from the Willamette National Forest with over 40 years of service to the community. Many of his years were spent as the District Archaeologist for the Sweet Home Ranger District. In this position he lead many hikes most notably to Cascadia Cave and along the Santiam Wagon Road. He had a passion for sharing stories and for connecting people to the land around them.

His friends and co-workers will be gathering to honor Tony Farque' s career on October 2 at 1 pm at River Bend County Park Picnic Pavilion in Foster, OR. We will be following all Oregon and CDC guidelines and may have to cancel depending on State or Federal guidelines. Although this will be an outdoor event, we do ask everyone attending to wear a mask as a courtesy to other guests.
