West Coast Forum on Climate Change, Waste Prevention, Recovery and Disposal 
EPA Regions 9 and 10 are hosting three web-based training sessions to address the nexus between climate change, materials, waste prevention, recycling, composting, and disposal.
The free sessions will be held from 1:00 - 3:30 p.m. PDT on June 26, July 16, and August 5, 2008.  Each session covers a different set of topics, beginning with an overview of the basics and activities in Western states (June) and proceeding to disposal and composting in July, and accounting systems, modeling, and economic incentives in August.
In addition to the web-based training option, Oregon DEQ is hosting a “hub site” in Portland for stakeholders interested in watching the webinars in a group setting, and discussing the content afterwards.
