Orbits and PICS users

Currently ETS is in the process of updating all agency emails to the @oregon.gov email domain. Currently DAS and DAS client agencies are scheduled to be migrated in the next few months, Department of Revenue and Parks have already migrated to the new e-mail domain. Due to this change, users must update the information on both the SABR and ORBITS email list server, since the distribution list is attached to your current email.  Your agency may not have switched over yet, so this is just trying to make SABR user aware of this issue and update your information accordingly.
Example my e-mail is denver.peterson at das.state.or.us<mailto:denver.peterson at das.state.or.us> and after the migration will become denver.peterson at oregon.gov<mailto:denver.peterson at oregon.gov> .

A potential gotcha with this migration is a feature in outlook called Auto-fill. Auto-fill happens when you start typing a person name in outlooks TO: or CC: field, and outlook starts showing you e-mail address of user you normal email. After the person is migrated to the new @oregon.gov domain their old e-mail with the @das.state.or.us will immediately generate and Undeliverable message back to the sending user. This will also happen when replying to a sender's message sent before the sender was migrated. To resolve this you will need to simply delete the saved auto-fill name by pressing the delete key or clicking the X to the far right of the person, and then click on the To... button and search for the sender. User action:
Once your agency transitions to the new email, SABR suggest you unsubscribe from any current e-mail list server and re-subscribe.

Reminder that the SABR coordinator is only intended for a single e-mail contact. If your agency feels more than one contact e-mail is need please create an email distribution list, I can work with your agency IT shops to assist you with this.
